No shit, Fedex. No shit.

Kinja'd!!!

Ordered a Razer Blade Stealth a couple of weeks back. They started shipping yesterday. Paid for Overnight because it was a couple bucks more than 2-3 day. Got a shipment notification stating it would be delivered to my office by 4:30pm today. It sat one stop away in Memphis for more than 8 hours and it didn’t leave until less than 4 hours from the estimated delivery time. It can’t make a 7 hour trip in 4 hours...but it could (and does regularly with UPS) have made it in 12.5 hours. Now it’s being shipped to my office (which is closed until Monday) and when I tell them to just leave it there for me to pickup this weekend...It tells me “This is a problem...”.......at least something Fedex says is accurate.

I once had a UPS package get taken back to the sorting facility and designated for a similar address in a different STATE because the driver couldn’t find the address I had supplied (which was correct).

All of their official phone numbers route to customer service centers. However since it was after 5 p.m., they couldn’t do anything about getting the package routed correctly until the next day. By that point it would have been on a truck headed for Missouri.

It took several hours to coerce the rep into giving me a direct phone number for the local sorting facility. Thankfully I called just in time for an employee to go get my package off the truck that would have been bound for Missouri in a matter of minutes.

Fedex being Captain Obvious is almost just as hilarious as early Windows 10 installers:

“SOMETHING HAPPENED
- Something Happened”

Gee, thanks Microsoft.

UPS, USMail, etc... are all the same. Whenever I send something to the U.S. it seems to take forever. Sent one parcel which took three days to get from Carlisle via Heathrow to New York where it took two days to clear and then five days to travel the final hundred or so miles. WHY?

FedEx is absolutely trash in my experience. Never have had a problem with UPS though.

HA! FedEx is TERRIBLE! Every time I get a FedEx package I cringe! I have a planter where I want my packages hidden and sometime the post office does, and my UPS driver always does. But FedEx decides to go one step further. They put it in the planter, but then leave a door tag with a huge arrow pointing to the planter for everyone to see... But, I guess that’s better than leaving 6 huge boxes on my porch for EVERYONE to see.

Oh and my new favorite FedEx story is how they lost two BMW scan tools worth over 30, 000 dollars... I love it because I know with UPS when you have a high value packages (usually over a few grand) they put it in a special bag and it gets separated so it's basically impossible to lose it. And the upside is it's not thrown around.
